
On 23–25 September 2025, Mariia Zavodiana, Junior Research Fellow at the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and a PhD student at National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP), took part in the XXI European Rural Development Network Conference held in Bucharest, Romania.
The conference, titled “Food Systems Transition for Sustainable Rural Development,” brought together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across Europe for an interdisciplinary dialogue on the transformation of agri-food systems in the context of sustainable rural development.
The event was organized by:

The conference agenda covered a wide range of topics, including:

This international forum served as an important platform for exchanging knowledge, ideas, and experiences, and contributed to strengthening international cooperation in the field of rural development and scientific research.
