Working Meeting on Land Access Cooperation with Charitable and Civil Society Organizations
On May 13, 2025, the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine held a working meeting with representatives of the “Sofia” Charitable Foundation – Ukrainian Fund for Social Financing of Anthroposophical Initiatives, the Biodynamic Association of Ukraine, and the French foundation Terre de Liens, represented by Mr. Jean-Pierre Caron.
From the Land Management Institute, the meeting was attended by:
– Yosyp Dorosh, Acting Director, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of NAAS;
– Shamil Ibatullin, Deputy Director for Scientific Work, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of NAAS;
– Andrii Tarnopolskyi, Deputy Director;
– Andrii Dorosh, Research Fellow, PhD in Economics.
The discussions focused on potential cooperation in improving land access, particularly through the application of European best practices in land management and sustainable development.
Particular emphasis was placed on opportunities for joint research in support of smallholder farming, organic agriculture, and the preservation of soil fertility — recognized as a critical component of Ukraine’s food security.
Institute representatives also presented current scientific developments related to land use planning in Ukraine, including approaches that integrate environmental protection and sustainable agricultural practices.
The participants expressed mutual interest in deepening collaboration and agreed to work on concrete steps to formalize future partnership initiatives.
