During the meeting, the Land Management Institute of NAAS presented its scientific research results in the areas of land management planning, land cadastre, land valuation, and the LandShift project (Grant Agreement No. 101182007), implemented under the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
Participants discussed potential areas and mechanisms for cooperation between the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the StateGeoCadastre, the State Land Cadastre Center, and the Land Management Institute of NAAS. Particular attention was paid to urgent priorities in improving land resource management, including scientific support for land management planning, cadastral development, land valuation, and the enhancement of land management norms, rules, procedures, and standards.
As a result of the discussion, the participants initiated the creation of a joint work group, chaired by Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk, comprising representatives from the Ministry, the Land Management Institute of NAAS, the StateGeoCadastre, and the State Land Cadastre Center.
The key tasks of the working group were defined as follows:
– Identifying solutions to accelerate and improve the quality of defining the boundaries of territorial communities, ensuring their continuity for the purpose of establishing jurisdiction;
– Amending the current Methodology for normative monetary valuation of land plots to speed up the development of unified requirements for technical documentation;
– Preparing proposals for amending land legislation;
– Providing scientific support for the transformation of land management and cadastre norms in the context of European integration.
