On November 20, 2023, at a meeting with the Director of the IRWiR PAN, Prof. Monika Stanny, Head of the European Integration Department of the IRWiR PAN, Prof. Pavlo Khmelinsky, Associate Professor of the Economic Modeling Department of the IRWiR PAN, Dr Vitaliy Krupin, Dr. Jerzy Pleva (Team Europe), as well as Head of the Department of Economics and Policy of Agrarian Transformation of the State Institution “Institute of Economics and Forecasting of
the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” Prof., corresponding member of the NASU Olena Borodina, Director of the Institute of Land Use of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Prof., corresponding member of the NAAS Yosyp Dorosh, Deputy Director of the Institute Andrii Tarnopolskyi, Head of the Department of Experimental Land Use Design “Innovation Center” of the Land Management Institute of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics Oksana Sakal presented the main results of the research and discussed the directions of further cooperation of scientific institutions. Particular attention was paid to the issues of preparation for the negotiation process on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union, in particular, in terms of agricultural land use. During the discussion, Dr. Jerzy Plewa emphasized the necessary transformations on Ukraine’s path to EU membership.
 
On November 21, 2023, Director of the Land Management Institute of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Prof., corresponding member of the NAAS, Yosyp Dorosh and Deputy Director of the Institute, Andrii Tarnopolskyi, took part in the conference “Rural Areas: Transformations – Processes – Development Challenges” organized by the Committee for Spatial Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Staszyca Palace, Warsaw).
