
On June 27, 2025, as part of a scientific visit to the Republic of Poland, representatives of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS) of Ukraine conducted a working visit to the State Research Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation (IUNG-PIB) in Puławy.
The Land Management Institute of the NAAS of Ukraine was represented by: Doctor of Economics, Academician of the NAAS of Ukraine, Director, Prof. Yosyp Dorosh; Deputy Director Andrii Tarnopolskyi; Doctor of Economics, Prof. Olha Dorosh; Doctor of Economics, Senior Researcher Oksana Sakal; and PhD in Economics, Roman Derkulskyi. The meeting was also attended by PhD, Assistant Professor Vitaliy Krupin, a researcher at the Department of Economic Modelling of the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IRWiR PAN), who is actively involved in coordinating joint Ukrainian-Polish research projects.
Polish colleagues introduced the Ukrainian delegation to the institute’s research infrastructure, departmental structure, analytical laboratories, and key areas of scientific activity. Presentations and a guided tour of the institute were conducted by leading researchers, including Dr hab. Agnieszka Klimkowicz-Pawlas, Grzegorz Siebielec, Joao Coblinski, Sylwia Pindral, Artur Łopatka, Rafał Wawer, and Karolina Świątek. The presentations highlighted ongoing research in soil condition assessment, crop management, climate adaptation in agriculture, and digital land monitoring.

The Ukrainian delegation presented the results of their research in the fields of spatial planning, land policy, and post-war rural development. They also outlined the main areas of scientific and practical activity of the Land Management Institute and demonstrated the functionality of the web-based platform “Land Quality of Ukraine.” Opportunities for joint publications, collaborative projects, and scientific exchange were discussed.




The meeting took place in a cordial and professional atmosphere, reflecting the mutual interest in further cooperation.
