On July 31, 2025, a working meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, Oleksii Soboliev, with the heads of agricultural associations, unions, and organizations.
 
The Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was represented at the event by Deputy Director Andrii Tarnopolskyi, who is also a member of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Union of Land Surveyors of Ukraine.”
 
During the meeting, the Minister outlined the key areas of activity of the newly established ministry and introduced the deputy ministers responsible for its major operational directions.
 
In the course of the discussion, representatives of agricultural associations raised several pressing issues, including the shortcomings of the current normative monetary valuation of land plots, which fails to reflect contemporary climate changes, as well as challenges related to water use for agricultural irrigation.
