On November 12, 2025, representatives of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine — Oksana Sakal, Roman Kharytonenko, and Andriy Dorosh — took part in the event “Research and Innovation as a Driver of Ukraine’s Integration into the Global Research Area,” organized by the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine together with the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU). The event was dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development.
 
During the event, participants discussed issues related to Ukraine’s integration into the European and global research areas, participation in the Horizon Europe and European Research Council (ERC) programs, as well as support mechanisms for Ukrainian researchers within the grant funding system.
 
The event was attended by representatives of the Government of Ukraine, the European Commission, Science Europe, research institutions, and universities. The participants highlighted the resilience of Ukrainian researchers and the continued support provided by the European Union.
