Dear colleagues representing scientific and high education institutions, state authorities, local self-governments, NGOs, enterprises and organizations whose activities are related to the issues raised at the conference, as well as bachelor or master students are invited to participate in the conference.

1. The impact of armed aggression on land management.
2. Institutions, approaches, methods and measures of post-war restoration of land resources.
3. The special role of land management in overcoming the challenges of today.
4. Protection of land and soil quality in the context of European integration.
5. Harmonisation of the land legislation of Ukraine with the law of the European Union.
6. International standards for the protection of human rights to land.
7. Economics of rural land use and rural development.
8. The role of education and science in ensuring the rational management of land resources, post-war development and European integration of Ukraine.
 
The conference will be held on June 7, 2024 in a hybrid form.

As part of the conference, the workshop “PUBLIC INTERESTS IN LAND MANAGEMENT AND LAND USE: CURRENT EUROPEAN TRENDS” will be held with the support of the following projects:
– “Substantiation and measures for implementation of a human rights-based integrated approach to rural development, food security and land policy in post-war rebuilding of Ukraine” (abbr. “rUAr: Rebuild Rural Ukraine”) financed under the program “Long- term program of support of the Ukrainian research teams at the Polish Academy of Sciences carried out in collaboration with the U.S. National Academy of Sciences with the financial support of external partners”
– “Upskilling pathway for agroecology practitioners toward European synergies on land” within the Erasmus+ program
