LAND MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE OF NAAS STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH COMMUNITIES: SEMINAR-WORKSHOP IN TYACHIV DISTRICT, ZAKARPATTIA REGION

On February 27, 2026, the small conference hall of the Tyachiv District State Administration in Zakarpattia Region hosted a seminar-workshop titled “Land Valuation and Land Resource Management in Territorial Communities.” The event was conducted by Acting Director of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Academician of NAAS Yosyp Dorosh, and Deputy Director Andriy Tarnopolskyi, for the heads of territorial communities of Tyachiv District.
 
The seminar was also attended by Vladyslav Peresoliak — Head of the Department of Geodesy, Land Management and Geoinformatics at Uzhhorod National University, PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor.
 
The event was designed to provide expert guidance on recent changes in land legislation, modern approaches to normative and expert monetary valuation of land, as well as practical aspects of land resource management in the context of decentralization.
 
Participants emphasized the importance of effective land valuation and sound land resource management as key factors in generating local budget revenues, ensuring transparency in land relations, and supporting the strategic development of communities. It was noted that engagement with leading researchers and practitioners will contribute to improving land resource management efficiency across communities and strengthening the financial capacity of their territories.
