The Land Management Institute of NAAS continues the tradition of guest lectures at NULES (NUBiP) of Ukraine

On April 29, 2026, Senior Researcher of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Andriy Dorosh, delivered a guest lecture for master’s students of the Faculty of Land Management at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The topic of the lecture was Land Resource Management in Science and Practice.
 

 
The lecture consisted of four main blocks:
1. Career pathways in land management, including roles as a land management documentation developer, civil servant, local government specialist in land management, researcher, or even in the miltech sector.
2. Practical activities in land management, focusing on the specifics and challenges of preparing land management documentation and cooperation with public authorities.
3. Scientific activities in the field of land management, including the research work of the Land Management Institute of NAAS.
4. Introduction to the LandShift project, its goals and objectives, implementation features, and challenges faced by representatives of the Living Space in Kyiv region.
 

 
The LandShift project (https://landshift.eu/) – “Community-Led Creation of Living Spaces in Shifting Landscapes for Climate-Resilient Land Use Management and Supporting the New European Bauhaus” – aims to transform land-use practices to enhance climate resilience and support the sustainable development of communities. The project is funded under the European Union’s research and innovation programme Horizon Europe in accordance with Grant Agreement No. 101182007.
 
The lecture concluded with a Q&A session and a brief discussion on the future of the land management sector and opportunities for young professionals.
 
We look forward to continuing the tradition of guest lectures at the Faculty of Land Management of NULES (NUBiP) of Ukraine in the next semester.
