2On 21 November 2024, a scheduled meeting of the Coordination and Methodological Council (hereinafter referred to as the CMC) was held at the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAAS, Yosyp Dorosh presented the agenda to the participants, which included:
– scientific report held by PhD in Economics, Roman Kharytonenko;
– reports for the second half of 2024 on the implementation of the tasks of the scientific research program 38 ‘Ensuring land management and cadastre (Land management);
– approval of the staff of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of the NAAS;
– work plan of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the first half of 2025.
– information about the participation of young scientists of the Land Management Institute of NAAS in scientific competitions in 2024.
 
The CMC meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Food of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine:
– Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Food of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Senior Researcher Maksym Kropyvko;
– Curator of the scientific institution, Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Food of the NAAS, PhD in Economics, Alla Voytyuk.
 
Roman Kharytonenko, Scientific Secretary of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, presented a scientific report on «Approaches to the restoration of land affected by military operations in Ukraine». The speaker covered the following issues:
– description of the territories affected by the hostilities in Ukraine;
– retrospective analysis of the hostilities in Ukraine that have an impact on land plots;
– approaches to restoration of lands affected by military operations in the world;
– methods for determining damage, assessing damage caused to lands affected by military actions in Ukraine;
– stages of restoration of lands affected by military actions in Ukraine;
– principles and criteria for the successful restoration of land affected by hostilities in Ukraine.
 


 
After the scientific discussion and approval of the report, the scientific results of the implementation of the tasks of the scientific research programme 38 ‘Ensuring land management and cadastre (Land management)’ for the second half of 2024 were considered. The following issues aroused particular interest and scientific discussion among the meeting participants:
– «Methodological principles of classification of regime-forming objects and restrictions on land use taking into account military operations» – by PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko;
– «Theoretical and methodological principles of improving the system of land management of agricultural enterprises» – by PhD in Economics Andriy Dorosh;
– «Improvement of the regulatory and legal support for the regulation of land relations in Ukraine in connection with European integration» – by Doctor of Economics Oksana Sakal;
– «Theoretical and methodological foundations for the creation and implementation of the National Geospatial Data Infrastructure» – by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Mykola Malashevskyi;
– «Scientific basis for the implementation of the European Green Deal provisions in land management in Ukraine» – by PhD in Economics Roman Derkulskyi.
 








 
The meeting also approved the staff of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of NAAS.
The Scientific Secretary of the Land Management Institute of the NAAS, PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko reported on the work plan of the CMC for the first half of 2025 and on the participation of young scientists of the Land Management Institute of the NAAS in scientific competitions for 2024.
 
During the CMC, the Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Economics and Food of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Senior Researcher Maksym Kropyvko presented the academic award «100 Years of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine» to Roman Derkulskyi, Junior Researcher of the Department of Experimental Land Use Design «Innovation Centre» of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, for successful scientific and organisational work, significant contribution to the development of land use economics and on the occasion of the Day of the Agricultural Worker.
 

 
Upon completion of the CMC, Director of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Yosyp Dorosh claimed the need to accelerate the submission of scientific articles with the results of research in 2024, to implement scientific and technical products and complete research reports for 2024 as part of the implementation of the scientific research program 38 «Ensuring Land Management and Cadastre» («Land Management»).
