COORDINATION AND METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL AT THE LAND MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE OF NAAS REVIEWED THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST HALF OF 2024

On July 25, 2024, a scheduled meeting of the Coordination and Methodological Council (hereinafter referred to as the CMC) was held at the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAAS Yosyp Dorosh presented the agenda to the participants, which included:
– A scientific report;
– Reports on the fulfilment of the tasks of the Scientific research program 38 “Ensuring land management and cadastre” (Land management) for the first half of 2024;
– Approval of the members of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of NAAS;
– Work plan of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of NAAS for the second half of 2024;
– Information about the participation of young scientists from the Land Management Institute of NAAS in scientific competitions during the first half of 2024.
 
The meeting of the coordination and methodological council was attended by the curator of the scientific institution, head of the Agrarian Economics and Food of NAAS, PhD, Senior Researcher Alla Voitiuk.
The scientific report was presented by the Head of the Department of Experimental Land Use Design “Innovation Centre”, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Senior Researcher Oksana Sakal, on the topic “Latest Trends in the Development of Scientific Support for Land Use in Ukraine Related to EU Integration.” The presenter covered issues such as the role of science in the EU, EU legislation and strategies regarding land and land use, the New European Bauhaus Concept, and certain aspects of the Common Agricultural Policy.
 

 

 
After the scientific discussion and approval of the report, the CMC reviewed the scientific reports on the implementation of the tasks of the Scientific research program 38 “Ensuring land management and cadastre” (Land management) for the first half of 2024. The following issues aroused particular interest and scientific discussion among the participants of the meeting:
– “Institutional Foundations for the Development of Land Management in the Context of Ukraine’s European Integration” – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Senior Researcher Oksana Sakal;
– “Methodological Foundations for Agricultural Land Monitoring ” – PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Mykola Malashevskyi;
– “Theoretical and Methodological Foundations for Improving the Land Management System of United Territorial Communities” – PhD in Economics Andriy Dorosh;
– “Analysis of the Current State of Reclaimed Lands and Their Regulatory Support in the Development of Land Management Documentation in the Post-War Period” – PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko;
– “Scientific Foundations for Implementing the Provisions of the European Green Deal in Land Management in Ukraine” – PhD in Economics Roman Derkulskyi.
 
Also, at the meeting, the members of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of NAAS were agreed.
The Scientific Secretary of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko, reported on the work plan for the CMC for the second half of 2024 and on the participation of young scientists from the Institute of Land Management of NAAS in scientific competitions during the first half of 2024.
 
Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAAS Yosyp Dorosh spoke about the successful hosting of the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Challenges in Land Resources Management” by the Institute, with the participation of Ukrainian and European scientists. Yosyp Myroslavovych emphasized the need to expedite the submission of scientific articles for the approbation of research results in 2024 as part of the implementation of Scientific research program 38. He noted the employees of the Land Management Institute of NAAS who received scientific awards in the first half of 2024 for the results of scientific competitions and for their fruitful contributions to scientific activities.
