The Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine received with deep sorrow and grief the news of the untimely passing of Oleksii Ivanovych Shkuratov — Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the NAAS.
 
Oleksii Ivanovych worked at the Land Management Institute of NAAS during 2020–2021, serving as a leading researcher and head of department. During his work and further cooperation with the Institute, he established himself as an experienced scholar, a wise mentor, and a sincere person devoted to scientific research and the development of agrarian science.
 
He generously shared his professional and practical experience with young researchers, supported initiatives, and inspired colleagues with his enthusiasm and kindness.
 
His contribution to the development of agricultural land management will remain an important part of the history of our Institute.
 
The bright memory of Oleksii Ivanovych will forever remain in our hearts.
