ANNUAL COORDINATION AND METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL AT THE LAND MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE OF NAAS
On November 23, 2023, a scheduled meeting of the Coordination and Methodological Council (hereinafter referred to as the CMC) was held at the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAAS Yosyp Dorosh presented the agenda of the Coordination and Methodological Council, which included:
– A scientific report;
– Reports on the fulfillment of the tasks of the Scientific research program 38 “Ensuring land management and cadastre” (Land management) for 2023;
– Approval of the staff of the CMC of the Institute of Land Management of NAAS;
– work plan of the CMC of the Land Management Institute of NAAS for the first half of 2024.
The meeting of the coordination and methodological council was attended by the curator of the scientific institution from the Department of Agrarian Economics and Food of NAAS, PhD Alla Voitiuk.
Shamila Ibatullin, Deputy Director for Research, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, presented a scientific report on “Land Management within Territorial Communities of Ukraine: Transformation of Land Ownership in Modern Conditions”. The speaker covered in detail the following issues: land resources management on the example of Suvorovska rural territorial community of Izmail district of Odesa region and analysis of flooded areas due to Kakhovka HPP destruction.
After the scientific discussion and approval of the report, the Coordination and Methodological Council began reviewing scientific reports on the implementation of the tasks of the Scientific research program 38 “Ensuring land management and cadastre” (Land management) for 2023. The following issues aroused particular interest and scientific discussion among those present:
– “Substantiation of the institutional framework for planning sustainable use and protection of agricultural land” – PhD in Economics Andriy Dorosh;
– “Scientific principles of land consolidation in the process of reforming land relations” – PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Mykola Malashevskyi;
– “Substantiation of proposals for improving the legislative and regulatory support for the regulation of land relations in the agrarian sector” – Doctor of Economics, Senior Researcher Oksana Sakal;
– “Scientific principles of classification of the purpose and types of land use” – PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko;
– “Substantiation of the organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring strategic environmental assessment in the field of land management” – PhD in Economics Roman Derkulskyi.
Also, at the meeting, the new personal composition of the Coordination and Methodological Council of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Sciences was agreed and approved. At the end of the event, the Scientific Secretary of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko reported on the work plan of the Coordination and Methodological Council for the first half of 2024.
Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of NAAS Yosyp Dorosh spoke about the success of the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Formation of Sustainable Land Use: Problems and Prospects” with the participation of European scientists, co-organized by the Land Management Institute of NAAS. He emphasized the need to accelerate the preparation of short and extended abstracts on the stages of research completed in 2023 as part of the implementation of Scientific research program 38. He noted the employees of the Land Management Institute of NAAS who received scientific awards in 2023 as a result of participation in scientific competitions and for scientific fruitful activity.
