On June 18, 2024, the Director, Dr of Economics, Prof., academician of NAS of Ukraine, Distinguished Figure in Science and Technology of Ukraine Valerii Heiets and his colleagues met with the Director of the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development, Polish Academy of Sciences (IRWiR PAN), Dr. hab., Prof., Monika Stanny and Head of the Department of Rural Economics of IRWiR PAN, Dr. hab., Sławomir Kalinowski at the state institution “Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Land management institute of the National academy of agrarian sciences of Ukraine, Dr. of Economics, Prof., correspondent-member of NAAS, Yosyp Dorosh and Deputy Director for Research, Dr. of Economics, Prof., academician of NAAS, Shamil Ibatullin and Deputy Director Andrii Tarnopolskyi.
 


 
The parties were happy to discuss the possibility of participating in joint research projects and the integration of Ukrainian science into the European scientific area. The meeting also touched upon the development of agricultural areas, macroeconomic modelling of the digital economy, and human rights-based development of Ukrainian agriculture.
