NASA Harvest Seminar on Using Satellite Data for Monitoring Agriculture in Ukraine.

Land Management Institute of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, represented by Professor Sh.I. Ibatullin, participated in a seminar organized by NASA Harvest in conjunction with the University of Strasbourg (Strasbourg, France): “NASA Harvest Seminar on Using Satellite Data for Monitoring Agriculture in Ukraine”.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Taras Vysotskyi.

 

The seminar, chaired by NASA Harvest Director Professor Inbal Becker-Reshef, is held as part of the ongoing partnership between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and NASA Harvest on using satellite data for monitoring agriculture in Ukraine. The seminar supports the Ministry’s priorities and needs for monitoring the impact of the war on agricultural production in Ukraine, both in areas under Ukraine’s control and in temporarily occupied territories.
