On July 4, 2025, representatives of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Environmentally Safe Land Use and Current Issues of Land Protection – Marking the 90th Anniversary of the Birth of Leonid Yakovych Novakovskyi.”
 
The event was organized by the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, and the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Association of Land Management Specialists of Ukraine.”
The purpose of the conference was to discuss urgent challenges in the field of land protection and restoration, the preservation of their ecological value, and to honor the memory of Leonid Yakovych Novakovskyi — an outstanding Ukrainian statesman and scholar in the field of land relations, and a key figure in the establishment of Ukraine’s national land management service.
 

 
The conference was attended by leading scientists, educators, practicing experts, and representatives of governmental institutions.
The Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was represented at the event by:
Y. Dorosh, Sh. Ibatullin, I. Novakovska, O. Dorosh, A. Tarnopolskyi, Ye. Butenko, R. Kharytonenko, A. Dorosh, R. Derkulskyi, and M. Zavodiana.
 

 
The conference program included commemorative speeches about Leonid Yakovych Novakovskyi delivered by leading experts in the field:
– Taras Yevsiukov – Dean of the Faculty of Land Management at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP of Ukraine);
– Serhii Kvasha – Vice-Rector for Academic and Development Affairs at NUBiP of Ukraine;
– Yurii Lupenko – Vice President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics”;
– Yosyp Dorosh – Director of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine;
– Andrii Tarnopolskyi – Deputy Director of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine;
– Yurii Kulikovskyi – Former Deputy Director of the Department of Land Resources of the Kyiv City Council Executive Body;
– Andrii Martyn – Head of the Department of Land Management Design at NUBiP of Ukraine;
– Oleksii Konyk – Former Head of the Main Department of the State Land Agency (StateGeoCadastre) in Vinnytsia Region.
 
In the library’s reading hall, conference participants had the opportunity to view an exhibition stand featuring the scientific works of Leonid Yakovych Novakovskyi.
