On July 2, 2025, representatives of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine took part in the event “Clearing the Path: The Future of Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine,” organized by the (Tony Blair Institute for Global Change) in Kyiv.
The event was held at the invitation of the organizers and brought together key stakeholders from the Government of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, international partners, and representatives of civil society to discuss the future of humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
The Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was represented at the event by: PhD in Economics Roman Kharytonenko, PhD student Mariia Zavodiana, and specialist Olha Adamadze.

The event program included an opening address by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, a presentation of the research findings by the Tony Blair Institute, a panel discussion with government officials and international experts, as well as informal networking and discussion of current challenges.


The Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and considers the discussion on demining to be an essential component of post-war recovery and the sustainable development of communities.
