On 05.12.2024, the researchers of the Land Management Institute of NAAS took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Soil Care in War and Peace: Condition, Monitoring and Management’, organised by the National Scientific Centre ‘A.N. Sokolovsky Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry’. The co-organisers of the event were:
– Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine;
– National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine;
– State Biotechnological University;
– NGO ‘Ukrainian Society of Soil Scientists and Agrochemists’.
 
Areas of work of the conference:
– Impact of military operations on soil resources of Ukraine, restoration measures;
– Adaptation of agricultural technologies to climate change and current land conditions;
– Monitoring, standardisation and measurement.
 
During the plenary session in the section “Monitoring, Normalisation and Measurement”, the Director of the Land Management Institute of NAAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Yosyp Dorosh, made a scientific report on “Agricultural Land Management in War and Peace”.
