Researchers of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine at the XIX International Scientific Conference “Monitoring of Geological Processes and Ecological Condition of the Environment” (Monitoring’2026)
From 20 to 24 April 2026, researchers of the Land Management Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine participated in the XIX International Scientific Conference “Monitoring of Geological Processes and Ecological Condition of the Environment” (Monitoring’2026), held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The event was organised by the Educational and Scientific Institute “Institute of Geology” of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in partnership with the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE). This year, the conference was held in an in-person format for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The Institute was represented by O. V. Sakal, A. V. Tarnopolskyi, M. A. Malashevskyi, Ye. A. Tarnopolskyi, R. A. Kharytonenko, B. B. Zaiachkivska, and M. V. Zavodiana.
Two research papers were presented on behalf of the Institute:
– in the session “Remote Sensing, UAV, and Geospatial Data Analytics” (poster presentation, 22 April) – “Development of Geospatial Data Infrastructure of Territorial Communities in the Context of Environmental Monitoring Tasks” (presenter: Olena Malashevska; during the poster session, A. V. Tarnopolskyi presented the work and responded to questions from conference participants);
– in the session “Environmental and Economic Risk Monitoring” (oral presentation, 23 April) – “Monitoring the Performance and Outcomes of State Planning Documents: A Case Study of Kyiv Region” (presenter: Bohdana Zaiachkivska).
All Institute participants were awarded conference certificates.
