On February 13, 2025, researchers from the Land Management Institute of NAAS took part in the information session “Specific Aspects of Engaging with the Horizon Europe Program,” organized by the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine under the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. Representing the Institute at the event were O. Sakal, R. Kharytonenko, H. Shtohryn, A. Dorosh, and R. Derkulskyi.
 
The primary goal of the session was to familiarize Ukrainian scientists, researchers, business representatives, and organizations with the Horizon Europe Program, which is the European Union’s flagship initiative in the field of research and innovation.
 
Participants learned about the program’s key features as well as the activities of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine and its support options for Ukrainian applicants. Speakers offered detailed explanations of legal aspects of participation in the program, practices of open science, core elements of project proposal development, financial mechanisms, and funding possibilities for various categories of participants.
