On August 6, 2026, a significant event took place within our scientific community: during the meeting of the ad hoc specialized academic council (RSVR 243), junior research fellow Mariia Zavodiana successfully held the public defense of her dissertation.
 
The young scientist presented her comprehensive research on the topic: “Ecological and Economic Factors of Land Capital Formation in the Agrarian Sector.” The work was submitted for the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in specialty 051 “Economics” (field of study 05 “Social and Behavioral Sciences”).
 
The dissertation research was conducted under the supervision of Yosyp Dorosh, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the NAAS, Acting Director of the Institute of Land Management of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, and Professor at the Department of Land Cadastre of NULES of Ukraine.

The public defense was held at a high scientific level. During the meeting, a constructive scientific discussion unfolded regarding the pressing issues of the ecological and economic formation of land capital in the agrarian sector.
